Portrait painting commission information
The first meeting with the client ascertains the pose, clothing
and setting. It is at this stage that I take photographs for reference.
At my studio I work on the drawing to size and once approved,
I will start work on the painting. The painting process will take
from 12 to 16 weeks to complete.
At drawing approval stage I will invoice 30% of the total fee.
Final payment is due on completion and presentation of the portrait.
Portraits can also be painted from direct observation and sittings.
